Academic calendar

The academic year at Hanze UAS officially starts on the last Monday of August and is effectively 42 weeks long. The academic year is made up of two semesters, each of 21 weeks. The semester switch takes place at the end of January.
There are a few breaks in the course of the academic year, which are not included in the 42 study weeks. The summer holidays, start around mid-July.
PLEASE BEWARE: Study programmes may have their own opening and closing dates. The starting dates per block may also be different.
