First Graduation Ceremony Hanze Institute of Technology

The first class of students of the Hanze Institute of Technology (HIT) will graduate on Friday 20 July. This festive event will take place in a special venue: the Drents Museum in Assen.

The Hanze Institute of Technology, part of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, started in September 2008 with the bachelor programme Advanced Sensor Applications, an international programme in the field of sensors. Sensor technology is a rapidly emerging technology with a lot of potential in the fields of e.g. the gaming industry, healthcare, security and agriculture.

The students who graduate this year have done their internships at Philips, ASTRON, Port of Amsterdam and Holst Centre. The students come from all over the world.
