A requirement for enrolment at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen (Hanze UAS) is receipt of your tuition fees. In your letter of acceptance you can find the amount that you need to pay for your study programme. Tuition fees are paid per academic year.
Tuition fees for Exchange students and Double degree students are waived.
Most international students make their payment by sending us a bank transfer. In case you have the chance to come to Groningen, you can also pay by debit card and the last option is for students who already have a Dutch bank account; they can complete an authorisation form part B. Since the fees need to be paid before your first day of enrolment, we advise you use the bank transfer.

Financial guarantee
Students who need a visa and/or a residence permit to enter the country will not need to make a separate money transfer for their tuition fees. This amount will be taken out your financial guarantee. Hanze UAS needs to start an immigration procedure for you. Please make sure to read our information on immigration.
Scholarship
Hanze UAS also participates in the Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) which supports students from developing countries. The fellowships are granted for the duration of the programme and cover the tuition fees and the costs of international travel, subsistence, books and health insurance. In case you are granted either one of these scholarships, you do not need to pay your tuition fees or financial guarantee. Your scholarship will take care of all payments and will provide you with a financial guarantee for your immigration procedures.
