Electronic Learning Environment

For students of Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, computers and internet are an indispensible element of their study environment. All schools have introduced the Electronic Learning Environment into their educational process. It provides the student with a wide range of information on the programme as a whole and the various parts that make up the programme. It also gives a survey of frequently asked questions and answers to these questions.

Access all over the world
All students get their own e-mail address and can use the Electronic Learning Environment wherever they can access the internet. The ELE is used to communicate digitally with lecturers and fellow students, using e-mail, or chat and discussion groups. The ELE is also used by students to work together on group projects and assignments. You can use the ELE at the university or at home, but also when you are abroad, visiting your family and friends, doing your international work placement, or studying at one of our partner universities. Lecturers can thus supervise students not only in face to face situations, but also in distant learning situations.

Notebooks and computers
There are a lot of computer facilities at the university, and in addition there are numerous plug-in points for notebooks, providing you with access to the internet and the Electronic Learning Environment. With your own notebook, you can avoid having to wait for a free computer during peak hours.
