It is not easy to leave your house to study in abroad. You need to find new friends, adapt to a new culture and find a new place to live. Don’t worry. Great moments, people from other cultures and a great ambiance is what awaits you in one of the student residences that Housing Office offers. Spanish exchange student Pablo Suarez visited some of them to give you a first impression.

Blekerslaan
Rene Spierts has been the student manager of residence Blekerslaan this past year. ‘I think it is one of the best houses, because we are like a small family. We are only around fifty people! It has been a very interesting year for me, I met so many people from different countries. The atmosphere is wonderful because we have a huge common room and a community kitchen where we all hang out. In addition, the city centre is within walking distance.’
