With some programmes it is possible to enrol in the second semester of the academic year (starting in February). In that case you will be required to pay part of the tuition fees for the remainder of the academic year (1 February – 31 August 2010).
For example: If you are a student from an EU/EEA-country, and you will start your Bachelor degree in February, you will be required to pay € 945,00; if you are a student from a non-EU/EEA country, you will then be required to pay € 2,222,25.

EU/EEA: The following countries belong to this category:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, the Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
Students from Surinam will be charged the same fees as students from EU/EEA countries.

UAF students
Students who have been officially recognized by the UAF (the Foundation for Refugee Students) are required to pay the same tuition fees as EU/EEA students.

Exchange students
Exchange students are not required to pay tuition fees.

Double Degree programmes
Exchange students who want to enrol for one of the Double Degree programmes mentioned below will not be required to pay tuition fees.

- Medical Product Development and FH-OOW (Standort Emden)
- Biomedical Engineering and FH-OOW (Standort Wilhelmshaven)
- ECM and FH-OOW (Standort Oldenburg)
- ECEM and FH-OOW (Standort Oldenburg)
- Biology and Medical Laboratory Research and FH-OOW (Standort Emden)
- International Technology Management and FH-OOW (Standort Emden)

All other students from partner institutions who want to obtain a degree at Hanze University Groningen, will be required to enrol as a fee-paying student.
