Our deadline for all immigration procedures for February intake is: 1 December
Our procedures are worked out in a timeline which will ensure timely arrival in Groningen. The immigration procedure needs to result in you being here in time, but also needs to result in you residing here legally at the start of the academic year, which is on 1 September. This is a legal obligation for our institution: our enrolment files need to show proof of legal residency on this date. Your MVV or your residence permit are proof of legal residency.
Now you may understand that we will not be able to start an immigration procedure for you after our deadline: we will not be able to enrol you as a student en you therefore will not be able to study here.
