The work of the research group Popular Culture, Sustainability & Innovation is based on the added value of popular culture and artistic research as catalysts for transformations in the living and working environment. In this, the focus lies on the various roles artists and designers can play in this interaction, in order to stimulate sustainable, cultural and social innovation. The research group contributes to innovations in curricula and research development in educational institutions and to innovation in the professional practice of artists and designers.
