Lifelong Learning Projects 2004 - 2008
Within the research group two types of pilot projects are realised: some are shaped and evaluated in collaboration with partners from the professional practice and some concern teacher’s competencies. The projects are aimed at acquiring knowledge, skills and attitudes concerning Lifelong Learning.
Important criteria for the pilots in collaboration with the professional practice are:
- relevant to the current and changing cultural landscape
- reflecting the changing profession
- exploring different contexts
- intervention oriented
- leading to relevant learning experiences
- illuminating attitudes and values
- artistically driven
The pilot projects that aim at promoting teachers’ competencies should become ‘good practice’ models for further development of competencies. As such they can reinforce the functioning of both conservatoires and learning organisations.
