The Entrepreneurship Centre of Applied Research and Innovation wants a greater number of students of Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen to start new companies and also aims to improve the level of entrepreneurship of existing companies. The centre tries to promote new and better entrepreneurship by sharing expertise and insights with companies. Thus, entrepreneurship becomes an integral part of education. Furthermore, the Entrepreneurship Centre of Applied Research and Innovation helps students to start a business of their own. Under the title Startbaan (runway) it offers students coaching and practical facilities.
