'At the FucinaOff Festival in Spoleto (Italy) in September 2008 I met some students and tutors of the FMI Masters. They were visiting this festival during a study trip. I noticed that there was a good atmosphere in the group, which I think is really important. After I did some investigation at the study programme, I found out that the institute offers high quality education against a good tuition fee price. One of the main reasons for me to apply at the FMI Masters, was the possibility to combine study elements of the Scenography and the MFA Interactive Media and Environments programme with each other. I like living in Groningen. It is relatively a small city, but there are a lot of students and many things are organized for students.'
