Interactive Media and Environments Painting Scenography

A strong, open network for students and alumni to exchange knowledge, ideas and experiences

The Scenography master's programme network includes various theatre institutions and performance spaces in the North Netherlands and beyond, such as the Grand Theatre, the Noord Nederlands Toneel and De Citadel in Groningen, the Oerol Festival on the island of Terschelling, Tryater in Leeuwarden, and the Peer Group in the province of Drenthe. We are also currently working on an international joint venture between Hunter College in New York, the University of Gießen in Germany and other international institutions offering similar master's programmes.

For the Scenography master's graduate, the world is a great source of inspiration with a single universal visual language. Which is why the FMI masters programmes include various international components, such as excursions to international art cities and visits to exhibitions and presentations in other countries.
