Honours & Excellence

In September 2010 HIT’s Advanced Sensor Applications (ASA) Bachelor was given Honours degree status, in recognition of its comprehensive and excellent level of education in the field of applied sciences. The Honours Programme begins in the first year of the Bachelor degree and requires students to demonstrate organisational, leadership and civic (community) skills. All HIT students who complete the ASA Bachelor graduate with Honours.

Why HIT?

• First in category ‘Electrical Engineering’ in the leading Dutch study guide ‘Keuzegids HBO voltijd 2011’ (92 points);
• ‘Best Choice’ in category ‘Electrical Engineering’ in the same study guide;
• Again, 92 points in ‘Keuzegids HBO voltijd 2012’;
• Marked ‘Top Rated Programme’ by the Keuzegids HBO Voltijd 2013. This means it belongs to the best in the Netherlands.
• High student rating: 7.9 in National Student Survey 2012;
• Bachelor of Engineering Honours Programme in the English language and in an international environment.
