Frank De Kleine is a fulltime communications officer at Staff Office Marketing & Communication of the Hanze University Groningen. Currently he works 2 days a week in Assen for the Hanze Institute of Technology and 2 days a week for the School of Computer Science in Groningen. He works 1 day a week at the Staff Office in Groningen. He has much experience in using the web in communication.
Mr. De Kleine studied Communications at Hanze University and has worked as a Marketing manager in the financial sector, before he started working at the Prince Claus Conservatoire (part of Hanze University) via USG Capacity. After that he was employed by the Staff Office Marketing & Communication at Hanze University.
There he worked for different schools, like the Academy of Architecture, the International Business School and the Institute for Life Science & Technology. He also participated in projects like the successful Germany project, that ultimately led to an increased number of Germans studying at Hanze University.
Mr. De Kleine has been a strong believer in the power of internet as a medium since he got his first job in 1998. Since then he has made numerous web sites & blogs, he got experience using social media like Delicious, Youtube, Flickr, Twitter and Facebook. He has read books like The Corporate Blogging Book by Debbie Weil, Naked Conversations by Robert Scoble & Shel Israel, Inbound Marketing by Brian Halligan & Dharmesh Shah and Crush It! by Gary Vaynerchuk.
In 2007 he started Kolorigi, an online business that generates revenue from advertisements.
