Dutch & International Students, 3 year programme

Talented students may be eligible for admission directly into the three year main phase, thereby reducing study time by one year. To be eligible, you need to demonstrate an outstanding knowledge in the fields of mathematics, science and English and possess the required professional skills necessary for the main phase of the programme.

There are specific requirements that you must meet to be admitted directly to the ASA Bachelor main phase.

  • The minimum English language level required for entry into the main phase is two B2 and two C1 Common European Reference Framework (CEFR) scores, distributed among the categories of reading, writing, listening and speaking. If you have taken an IELTS test, the required score is 6.5, with no subscores below 5.5. Here you can find more information about the language requirements.
  • Three personal essays. More information about these tests can be found here.
  • In addition, during the first four weeks of the Bachelor Programme, your abilities will be assessed through a series of tests and assignments. If you pass this assessment you will be admitted directly into the three year programme.

WARNING: Applications for the three year main phase MUST be in before June 1st.

To enter the three year programme, fill out on the application form that you wish to start your Academic Year in year 2.

The Advanced Sensor Applications Bachelor starts in September. We don't offer a programme that starts in February.

Hanze Honours College
All excellence programmes at Hanze UAS together form the Hanze Honours College. The Hanze Honours College offers students the possibility to develop their talent. Within the Hanze Honours College students share their talent and have the opportunity to increase and develop new knowledge.
