Workshops
Parallel to the HIT Challenge presentations we organize two workshops; ‘How to build an App’ and ‘Programming and interfacing with Arduino’.
How to build an App
During this workshop you will learn how to build an App on your Android mobile device. Erik Pieper, young ICT talent and student assistant will be your instructor. Erik has a bright vision about mobile devices and the latest mobile technologies. The workshop is open for all students and entrepreneurs. If you do not have any programming experience you will be paired with an experienced student or participant.
Programming and interfacing with Arduino
In our workshop we will teach you how to use Arduino to comment on any part of your life that you would like to express. This artistic expression will be created by a simple Arduino-based prototype, and for this reason this workshop fits in with arts like painting, photography and sculpture.
The artist HsienYu Cheng will lead the workshop virtually and Artificial Intelligence engineer Simon Knuijver, together with Arduino-expert Corneel Canters, will be present to show you how creative activities can lead to useful smart applications.
For organisational purposes we ask you to register by sending an email to info.hit@org.hanze.nl. Please indicate in the email which part of the programme you intend to join: HIT Challenge or Workshop 'How to build an App' or Workshop 'Programming and interfacing with Arduino'.
