March 20: Sensor Technology Bachelor Programme Experience Day at Hanze Institute of Technology (Meeloopdag)

On Tuesday March 20th 2012, high school students can take part in the Hanze Institute of Technology Experience Day (Meeloopdag) in Assen, the Netherlands.

Pupils interested in sensor technology will have the opportunity to see what it is like to study the Advanced Sensor Applications Bachelor Programme in Assen. This Bachelor Programme has been ranked Number One in the Keuzegids HBO Voltijd 2011 in the study category 'Elektrotechniek' (Electrical Engineering).

Keep in mind that, due to the practical activities, places are limited. Therefore, we will operate a first come-first served system and advise you to apply ASAP. If you’d like to attend this Experience Day, please confirm your presence by filling out this form (Dutch page, please select Advanced Sensor Applications (ASA) and hit the 'Verder'-button).

Programme
The programme will contain subjects like a mini tour around the building, introduction to the lab determination of reaction speed, professional skills workshop (fun!), lunch with students, determination of reaction speed by using a home made calorimeter, a presentation and a Q&A. Don't forget to bring these things: a calculator, pen, pencil and a tri-square (geodriehoek).

If you'll fill out the form, we will send you a final programme shortly before March 20. The Experience Day will start at 08.30 and will end approximately at 17.00. You don’t have to worry about lunch, we will take care of this.
