Dutch and international students, who come to study at HIT, need to find living accommodation in Assen. Therefore, a sufficient number of apartments are provided by the housing association Actium. The apartments are located near the train station and city centre of Assen. All these apartments are within biking distance from the HIT building.
Living with your classmates
The apartments give you the opportunity to live together with two of your classmates. The kitchen, bathroom and living room are communal, but you have your own bedroom. The living rooms are approximately 20m²; the sizes of the bedrooms differ from 8m² to 13m².
Rent
The rent varies from €250 to €350 per month. This price includes gas/heating, water and electricity. Appartments are fully furnished, including internet and cable TV outlets.
