Prior to studying at Hanze University I had a career in Project Management. I come from Chile and chose to study the MBA programme at Hanze University because of the city as well as the country. The programme lived up to my expectations. I particularly liked the multicultural aspect. I think the programme will help me in my career because of the managerial skills I now obtain.

I chose to study the MBA programme at Hanze University because I wanted to obtain managerial skills and Groningen is the best city for studying. The programme lived up to my expectations as I acquired a lot of knowledge in the 12 months that I was here. The way of teaching along with the school system particularly appealed to me. I currently have a job at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and am head of the department Cultural and Scientific Cooperation. I am convinced that I will improve my work thanks to the programme.

I come from Ecuador but wanted to study in the Netherlands because my sisters who studied here were really enthusiastic about the standard of living as well as the educational system. After having contacted the Dutch embassy back home who referred me to the Nuffic, I was advised to come to Groningen. I wanted to study an MBA programme in a small student city. Due to the fact that Hanze University was quick in their response to my application, I decided to study here. The programme lived up to my expectations. I especially liked the fact that the enthusiasm of the lecturers helped make some relatively dull subjects as accounting really interesting to me. Prior to the MBA programme, I was a Business Advisor. The programme helped me get a broader perspective which in turn will help me in my career.
