Diversity is a critical issue in successful international firms. Professor Dr. René Schalk will discuss recent insights about how managers and employees with various backgrounds can work successfully together. Insights from a network perspective on organizations and individual differences in approaches are very helpful in this respect.
Professor Schalk is an international expert in employee relations on the work floor. He studies cultural diversity and age diversity in work settings. He has a special Chair in policy and ageing at Tilburg University, The Netherlands, and is an honorary professor at North West University, South Africa.
