Professor C.A.J. Herkströter will discuss how the relationship between organisations and their stakeholders has changed within the last decades. Trust is no longer obvious. To build sustainable relationships with stakeholders, corporate leaders have to understand the relationship between business principles and corporate policies.
Professor Herkströter was CEO of Royal Dutch Shell from 1993 to 1998. After his retirement he became Professor International Management at the University of Amsterdam and was, among others, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ING Group and DSM.
