Programme overview

The programme consists of two semesters of course work and one semester of applied research in a business context within a period of 16 months, starting in September each year and ending in November of the following academic year. The total size of the programme is 90 ects. Students may opt to participate in a double degree programme, in which case they have to spend the second semester at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) in Cambridge, England.

The first semester begins with a introduction week, to build group cohesion and enhance personal effectiveness.

  • Intercultural Competences in Business
  • International Marketing
  • Elective (for example: International Sales, Doing Business in Asia, International Workshop)

Semester Three
The third semester is focused on conducting applied research within a relevant business setting which is the basis for writing the Master thesis. Besides providing the essential knowledge of international business and management during the first two semesters, students are required to select a topic and a business setting for their Master thesis already during the first semester, and further develop their thesis proposal during the second semester. The actual research and writing the thesis are undertaken during the third semester.
