You are Programme Administrator of the MBA programmes of Hanze University.
What does your job entail?

Where to begin… I am organizing all practical matters for the MBA programme. This starts with informing students about the courses and organizing a nice introduction programme for them when they come to Groningen.
Our students come from all over the world so it is important to make them feel at home. During the programme I make sure that everything is organized smoothly. So I am informing the students about all matters regarding their study (course materials, assignments, schedules, grades etc), and I am providing the lecturers and management with the information and support they need.
What does an average working day look like for you?
I am happy to say that there is no such thing as an average working day. One day I am composing the study guide for next year, making sure all our information on the website is up-to-date, checking the invoices, organizing classrooms and materials for lecturers, the next day I am answering questions from students all day and solve problems they might face.
What do you like most about your job?
My job differs from day to day, I like the diversity in my tasks and responsibilities very much. It’s all about organizing things in such at way that all parties involved are happy, whether it is students, lecturers, programme management, other institutions within Hanze University, partner Universities or companies.
