The International Management minor is designed to empower students to face standard as well as unusual challenges in international management, confidently and professionally. By learning about trends and mega trends, as well as the dynamics of international economic institutions, students are able to assume management responsibilities on the various hierarchical levels. They will then be able to function adequately in an increasingly complex global business environment characterized by sometimes conflicting stakeholder demands. Special emphasis is placed on entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial leadership in multinationals as well as SMEs operating internationally.
The focus of this minor lies on the interdependencies between people’s activities in international work settings, cross-cultural leadership and making effective leadership contributions to the global economy’s business arenas.
