Jos van der Sijde head of Music Department
As per September 1st 2010 Jos van der Sijde (1956) has been appointed head of the music department of the Prince Claus Conservatoire of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen.
He will manage the music education and preliminary education of classical music, choir and wind band conducting, Composition, Music- and Studio productions (CMS). Together these specialisms are the largest department of the conservatoire.
Until September 1st 2010 Jos van der Sijde was head of department and artistic manager of the classical music department of the Codarts Conservatoire Rotterdam. Earlier he was main subject teacher at Codarts. He also works as conductor and orchestra musician.
