Special Quality Characteristic International Policy towards Prince Claus Conservatoire

The Dutch Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO) has granted the Music programme of the Prince Claus Conservatoire –department of the Hanzehogeschool Groningen- with the Special Quality Characteristic International Policy. This is an exceptional certificate besides the standard accreditation for programmes which are excelling in a specific field. The granting of the special characteristic means that the Prince Claus Conservatoire is distinguishing itself from other conservatoires in the Netherlands and Europe in the field of International Policy expressly and demonstrably.

The Prince Claus Conservatoire received this special characteristic because of the active and unique role it is playing among others in the development of the international music education, the initiating and coordinating of many international projects and the fulfilling of a pioneer role on the level of policy level in international connection.

The NVAO has accredited the bachelor programmes Music and Classroom Teaching formally for the next six years. From the 21 aspects to be judged the Prince Claus Conservatoire scored 20 “good” regarding both programmes, which is an extremely high score.
