Listen each Monday night, from 18:00 till 19:00, to the international student radio show Happy Hour FM at OOG-radio. The show was started by students of the School of Communication & Media.
Why international radio? International students in Groningen lack local news in English and practical information is hard to find or simply not available in English (where to buy a bike, how to get a Dutch sim-card, bank account etc). Also, cultural events are hardly listed in English. For all this information and more tune in to Happy Hour FM.
The radio programme should serve as a one-stop-shop for those of you coming from abroad. It is also an information channel for those already here and those who may have left but want to stay in touch.
