International Communication students show public affairs skills during Eurosim 2012

From 4 until 9 January, a delegation of 16 students from the International Communication specialisation European Public Affairs took part in the oldest and biggest EU simulation game in the world together with students from Europe, Asia and the United States.

This year, the event was held in Wroclaw, Poland. Our students represented heads of state and political leaders from European countries in the Council of Europe, but also members of various political parties in the European Parliament. They negotiated for four days about non-governmental bills of the European Protection Order and a more just treatment of civilians who are arrested in a foreign country, which is one the most important topics within the European Union at the moment.

A Eurosim visit is a fixed part of the fourth year International Communication specialisation European Public Affairs.
