During the third year, students from the School of Communication & Media will go abroad for an exchange semester at one of the partner universities. For International Communication students this is a requirement, for students from Dutch-taught study programmes it is optional.
As many as 100 students from this school are currently living up to this incredibly exciting period. What makes it even more exciting for them is that almost all of the students were able to get an exchange spot at the partner university of their (first) preference.
All students are supported by their academic coordinators and Hanze's International Student Office in making sure the partner universities receive all necessary documents for a smooth transfer abroad.
During their exchange semester students will be able to take a variety of courses from different study areas and some students will be able to study in a different language, for instance in German, France, Italian or Spanish.
Below is an overview of the countries of their destination:
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the United States.
