Students set out to stop Africa's thirst

Students of the minor Creating an International Event have raised more than 1200 euros at the exchange festival on 8 June, for the WASH project in Kenya.

The theme of the annual exchange festival this year was Solidarity & Africa, Stop Africa’s Thirst.

Several events took place throughout the afternoon, with each event challenging participants to think about their way of life compared with the way of life in countries across Africa.

Every year a group of international students from the minor Creating an International Event create and implement an exchange festival to raise money for a project in Africa.

Money raised will go towards the WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) project in Kenya. For more information visit the official exchange website
