What I really like about the International Communication programme is that I have class with students from many different countries. We are taught how to deal with cultural differences, which is very useful because we often work in intercultural project groups. Studying in such an international environment is a great attribute to my personal and future development.
International Communication is not only about learning to communicate with people with different cultural backgrounds. We also have classes in for instance economics and marketing, as well as developing research and media skills. Each study period revolves around a specific theme and all classes and projects in that period are linked to it.
For my third year, I will study abroad for one semester. The School of Communication & Media has over fifty partner universities to choose from! I will also do an internship as a marketing expert. This is a really great opportunity for me to obtain valuable work experience and I am hoping it results in a job offer after I receive my bachelor diploma.
