Take note:
Students can only apply for the study semester first. Students have the possibility to extend their study semester with the EPDE project semester. Only students with good study results in the study semester will be accepted to the EPDE project semester.

Admission requirements

The EPDE programme is offered in the last year of a bachelor programme.
Depending on the length of the bachelor programme at the home institution, students need to have obtained 120 to 180 ECTS credits at undergraduate level in electrical or electronics.

Studens need to send a transcript of records in English together worh treir application form. We will especially examine the knowledge and practice in the subjects Programming and Mathematics. An intake may be a part of the admission procedure.

A good knowledge of English is required.

Application deadlines (start September):
- Students needing a visa: 1 June
- Students not needing a visa: 15 August

Tuition fees

The study scheme for this programme may vary from week to week. The programme is intensive and consists of courses and project group work. Students who apply for this programme are expected to be full time available and present during the whole duration of the programme.

Students who do both semesters (study and project semester) are obliged to pass the VCA exam (Safety and Health Exam), costs are appr. 60 euro.
