What FM employers have to say

Anthony Gold, Operations Manager WECH LTD

Each year we look forward to taking two new students

We have been working the Hanze University for over 15 years and we have had more than 25 students in that time. Each year we look forward to taking two new students, in the spring and in the autumn and we take care to maintain a schedule of projects to be undertaken by the students. The placement programme has become a key aspect of our management process and there are almost no areas of our work that we would not ask one of your students to undertake. The range of interest and skill is wide and the students are all keen to undertake small projects such as working on our resident newsletter and designing new information leaflets to much bigger projects such as developing computer based management systems for large building projects.

Without exception the students are very bright, keen and hard working. Because of this and because the placement lasts in excess of five months all the students integrate into the office team very quickly and lose the status of placement student becoming a full time team member.

The placement programme is a resource that we value very highly and its success is due to the quality of the students and the relationship we have developed with the university over the years, iIn particular with the placement coordinator and members of the Facility Management teaching staff.

Regards.
