Exchange programme Laurea Helsinki
Three lecturers of the School of Facility Management visited the Laurea University at Helsinki and gave an international group of students several lectures on Change management, 4 dimensional Leadership as well as Programme- and Project management.

Students SIFM win an international scholarship
Three students of the School of Facility Management have won an IFMA*-scholarship! This prize consists of an amount between $ 1,500, and $ 5.000.

EuroFM Poster Competition 2012 weblog
At this moment there is a Euro-FM Student Poster Competition going on in Copenhagen. Recent FM graduate students Dore Steenhuizen and Matty Kamminga have both submitted a poster on a Facility Management topic which they worked/researched on during their graduation project. The experiences of Matty and Dore during the competition can be followed via their weblog!

The Euro Facility Management Conference 2011 in Vienna
From 23 to 25 May 2011, the annual Euro Facility Management (EURO FM) Conference was held in Vienna. From our School of Facility Management three students, Anouk Meerboer, Jordy Finkers and Albert Kammenga, and three staff members, Ron van der Weerd, Johan Offringa and Ab Reitsma participated.

On Friday 18-06-2010 we had our traditional Farewell Barbeque at the ACLO sports location on the Zernike Campus in Groningen. Fifteen second year IFM students and five staff members were present.

March 11th 2010. About 20 IFM students who are in their 3rd block of the second year and two lecturers have visited The Hague University. In The Hague they were welcomed by students who follow an International Semester, together with two fellow lecturers.

Celebration
February 12th 2010. In an intimate atmosphere 10 students of IFM that passed the first year of their program (the so called Propedeutical part) were celebrated for achieving this first stepping stone on the pathway to their degree. Also two students were present to receive their Bachelor of Business Administration, major IFM, diploma.

Marjolein FM Bachelor of the Year
Facility Management student Marjolein van de Water has won the national ‘FM Bachelor of the Year Award’ (best final paper) for her final paper entitled ‘Samen groeien naar een duurzame organisatie’ (Growing together towards a sustainable organisation).
