Farewell Cookout IFM 23 June 2011
On Thursday 23 June we had a great farewell barbecue to say goodbye to second year students IFM, who are all going on their year abroad.

On Thursday 23 June we had a great farewell barbecue to say goodbye to second year students IFM: Frits, Ruth, Anja, Cecilia, Rose, Simone, Maarten, Anke, Herma and Michael who are all going on their year abroad next year and to exchange students Kvestan, Seacow, Somu, Christina who were with us this last semester. Sindy Bosma, trainee at the Int. Placement Office of FM coordinated this great event.
The bbq was held at Resto VanHarte in Groningen, a restaurant that stimulates people in isolated positions to get together and become part of society again. The dinner was prepared and cooked by first year students IFM under the supervision of Chef Johan Oldenburg.
On this occasion a facebook group page was also created by Thomas Doornbos, first year student on which everybody wrote where they would be on 23 June next year and where students can stay in touch. Hope it will be a great year for all participants!
First year students Dalton, Vlad, Amen, Christian, Roos, and Milad did the preparation. Victor was there for moral support. It will be their turn next year.
