The trip from Guangzhou to the Netherlands was condensed: the company arrived in Sunday June 3rd , visited us and Nijenrode Business University on June 4th and were leaving to China on June 6th again.
Main objective of the visit to Hanze was to see what cooperation might be ahead of us. Mr. Piet Hein Oosterhagen explained the Dutch view on Facility Management (5P-model) to the delegation. Mrs. Jiang Hong and Mrs. Zhao Di were very interested in this model. Especially when Mark Mobach brought in the ideas about Healing Environment and research that showed that healing can be promoted by environmental circumstances. In the presence of Mr. Ab Reitsma we elaborated on exchange possibilities and we found out that there were not many possibilities for student exchange from NL to China merely due to the fact that there wer not much classes in English in Guangzhou. During the lunch and the guided tour around the Hanze premises Mr. Ron van der Weerd and  Mr. Jaap Wijnja discussed general issues about further possibilities. In future we will consider possibilities to mingle on research and staff exchange.
