About the International Law programme
The School of Law offers you a semester in International Law with an international student body. The programme addresses a large variety of subjects including aspects of international social law and labour law, as well as business law and general concepts of European law. Both law courses and skills training courses will be part of the programme.
Excursions, seminars and guest lecturers
Moreover, the programme includes excursions, seminars and lectures from guest lecturers from all over the world. At the end of the semester you will have achieved knowledge and skills that will enable you to operate as a paralegal in an international context.
Project-Centred Education
The aim of the programme is to apply acquired knowledge to practical business situations which are presented in the form of projects. The focus of this so-called Project-Centred Education (PCE) is on active learning. Throughout your studies you will work with foreign students in project groups, thus improving your intercultural communication and language skills.
Can I apply?
The programme is aimed at students with various academic backgrounds: students in social law or students with a business, marketing or communication background can follow the programme and will find it useful for their future professional careers. It is emphasized that no in-depth legal knowledge is required. The course will be offered in such a way that even students with basic knowledge of law and international law can successfully join the programme.
