As a foreign student you will be most welcome at the School of Marketing Management to join us in one of our exchange programmes taught in English! You will be part of a school of roughly 1,800 students and 120 staff members, most of whose education is in Dutch, yet everybody speaks good English. The School of Marketing Management is one of the 18 schools that constitute Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen. It offers three major programmes leading to the Bachelor in Business Administration degree. Students are trained in international marketing, marketing communication, sales and entrepreneurship.
Focus on modern education
The school is located at the Zernike Campus, which is just a ten-minute bus ride from Groningen city centre. The school has training and tutorial rooms, computer rooms, silent workplaces, student workplaces for group work or individual work and work stations for reading and online access. Experienced lecturers are easily accessible and will teach you how marketing works in practice.
Focus on research projects
Project work includes research, which is embedded within organisations from the professional field. We are in close contact with companies with a strong marketing focus, but also international business and marketing stand out, with market entry issues as one of our specializations. This knowhow is used to improve all degree programmes.
Focus on an international career
A period of study abroad, such as 1 or 2 semesters and marketing and international studies at the School of Marketing Management will help you prepare for an international career in international business, notably in marketing, marketing communication, sales and exports, where we are at the forefront within Hanze UAS.
