Senior Outdoor sports Instructor and Outdoor Management

Outdoor sports and outdoor activities in general enjoy a growing popularity. This growing market needs well-educated professionals holding specialist diplomas at various levels. The programmes of ROC Zeeland and the School of Sport Studies of Hanze University Groningen contribute to the development of outdoor sports in general and to the professionalisation of the outdoors sports industry and outdoor management. Associate Degree Sport Management
If students in senior secondary vocational education wish to further their studies, but are not prepared to study another three or four years at a university of applied sciences, they can study Sport Management for one or two years at higher professional education level. This will lead to a so-called Associate Degree (deel-hbo), opening new opportunities on the labour market. The length of the study programme depends on a student’s previous education. We call this previously acquired competencies (eerder verworven competenties, or EVC).
