When you want to develop a serious application in the field of bioinformatics, Java is the programming language of choice. The course “Introduction to Java Programming” will give an introduction to both programming with Java and the main concepts of object-oriented (OO) programming.

After attending Introduction to Java programming:

  • you have basic knowledge of all important aspects of the Java programming language
  • you will be able to create a small to medium sized application using the Java programming language
