International Law

The specialisation International Law is characterized by the complex environment in which students have to operate. This is primarily caused by the international character of this specialisation, in which English is the language of instruction and communication, students are part of an international environment (cooperation with students from all over the world) and the students are confronted with the complex influence of the international legal order.

Within the specialisation the emphasis is put on globalisation of society. In the A-Block the focus is on the effects of globalisation on trade and industry and in the B-Block the social effects of globalisation are addressed.

Both educational blocks have a common theme which further defines the programme’s other components: the far-reaching consequences of piracy and counterfeiting for the pharmaceutical industry and man.
The different components of the programme cover a broad and in-depth range of knowledge, skills and attitude. During the entire specialisation the components are linked to the Projects.
