Honours minor Master your Research Skills
This minor will give you the chance to get to grips with research at an advanced level and to develop your research qualities. The focus is on research skills in the field of health care. You will generate knowledge, insights and products that contribute to the resolution of concrete problems and the improvement and innovation of professional practice. After all, paramedics often run into problems that cannot be solved by merely using routine and standard solutions, instead requiring an evidence-based approach.
The programme includes research methodology, advanced statistics, scientific argumentation and medical ethics. You will also carry out a research project, to which you will apply the lessons learnt during the theoretical courses. As part of the research project, you will write a research design in the first period and a research report in the second period.
Once you have completed the minor, you will find yourself well prepared for your final research project and maybe even for a master's programme. Additionally, your Transcript of records will feature an Honours distinction.
