About this minor

By doing this Minor you will improve the level of your English enormously. You will be
well-prepared for an English-taught master.

The Minor is focused on improving your English language skills in the following areas:

• Academic writing, as to be prepared to write a Master thesis.
• Speaking skills: you will improve your presentation skills in English as to reach the level necessary for a Master degree.
• English vocabulary and grammar of research and statistics. Research and statistics will be taught from the language perspective. The subjects research and statistics themselves will not be too advanced. In this way you will be prepared language-wise for whatever English-taught Master you choose.
• Dealing with intercultural project work.
• Listening and reading skills. You will gain speed in reading academic texts in the field of your own interests.
• Setting up your individual research project.

Prerequisites

English language skills: Level  B2 according to the Common European Framework (CEF) or IELTS 5.5
