Previous education
For admission, a distinction is made between sufficient and insufficient preliminary education. Your previous studies should be of a high enough level to study at a Dutch university of applied science. The student administration assesses your diploma's/certificates.
Even with insufficient preliminary education, you may still be admitted to the bachelor Fine Art on the grounds of 'exceptional talent' and a good performance in a test. This test indicates whether or not you can function at higher professional educational level. You will have to pay the costs of this test yourself.

Entrance examination
Due to the corona virus the entrance examinations will take place by Skype. Further instructions will follow after application, in the invitation e-mail for the entrance examination.

Please upload the following to Hanze Apply:

- your portfolio (below you will find the portfolio requirements)
- your home assignment (the assignment can be found in Hanze Apply)
- your motivation

You will also receive an invitation for the entrance examination in a separate email.
During the entrance examination, an admissions committee composed of 2 teachers and a student assesses your artistic talent. Based on the various home assignments that you made and your portfolio, the admissions committee has an interview with you. They also ask for your arguments for choosing Minerva Fine Art and your ambition as a (future) artist.
Within two weeks you will receive the results of the entrance examination by email.
