Nursing (Part-time)

Interested?

You like to help people, especially people who are ill. You are a good listener and a people's person. You don't mind working hard and you like to work with others. It is important to you to improve the quality of care. Is this you? Then a career in nursing will suit you fine. Studying means choosing for a versatile job in which you will adopt a great many different roles.

 

What is your future perspective?

As a Nursing graduate you will have acquired the knowledge you need to work as an independent professional, taking well-considered decisions. This is what makes your profession as a nurse very interesting. You can apply for a job as a nurse in a hospital, as a psychiatric nurse at a care of addicts centre, or as a health professional at a regional heath authority or in homecare.

 

After graduating it is possible to transfer to the University of Groningen. You can also study our Master Advanced Nursing Practice, after having worked in the nursing practice for two years.
