Cancellation of (re-)enrolment

If you wish to cancel your enrolment for the next academic year after having met all the enrolment and payment requirements, you must do so before 1 September of the given academic year via Studielink.

Is this your first time enrolling as a student? Follow the steps below to cancel your enrolment:

Step 1: Log in to Studielink. Follow the instructions on the site.
Step 2: Click on 'My study programmes'. Here, you will see details of the programme you are enrolled in, as registered with the Student Administration. Check that all the information is correct.
Step 3:  Click on the programme enrolment that you want to cancel. You will then see your enrolment details for that programme.
Step 4:  Click on 'Withdraw enrolment application'. If you have already paid the tuition fee, click on 'Withdraw enrolment application'. 

Are you re-enrolling? Follow the steps below to cancel your re-enrolment:

Step 1: Log in to Studielink. Follow the instructions on the site.
Step 2: Click on 'My study programmes'. Here, you will see details of the programme you are enrolled in, as registered with the student Administration. Check that all the information is correct.
Step 3:  Click on the programme you want to withdraw from. You will then see your enrolment details for that programme.
Step 4:  Click on 'Request for termination of enrolment'. The Student Administration will process the termination of your enrolment.

If you have already paid the tuition fee and we receive your termination request before 1 September of the given academic year, you will be reimbursed for the full amount. If you cancel your enrolment after this date, you will in any case be subject to pay a minimum of one month's tuition fee. The exact amount depends on when your withdrawal is received. Consequences of cancelling (re-)enrolment

Cancellation of your (re-)enrolment can have major consequences for your student finance, student travel product and residence permit, if applicable. You are therefore advised to talk to a student counsellor, the International Service Desk at Hanze UAS (if you are a foreign student) or the DUO before making this decision.

Deregister during the academic year
