Despite all efforts, health inequalities and inequality of opportunity have widened rather than narrowed in recent years. This increases the urgency for a transition to more health and participation.
At the Centre of Expertise Healthy Ageing, we bring together education, research and professional practice to develop solutions that truly meet the needs of our region. Together with partners, we tackle challenges related to equal opportunities and participation, vulnerability and fitting health care and a healthy lifestyle and living environment. The knowledge we co-create is directly applicable and we translate it into education and learning networks for both students and professionals. In this way, we strengthen the region – today and for the future.
