Legal issues at the intersection of ICT and law

The primary aim of the professorship is to ensure that legislation and regulations better align with the needs of these groups. The research conducted within the professorship focuses on legal issues that arise at the intersection of ICT and law, such as questions relating to data sharing and privacy, as well as the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI).

Trix Mulder

Through this work, Trix Mulder combines her interest in both ICT and law, examining how legislation and technology influence one another and what their impact is in practice. As technology is becoming an increasingly integral part of our society, the research is conducted across various relevant societal domains. Topics such as data sharing and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) have a significant impact on the future development of healthcare, play a role in cybersecurity issues, and are important in the current transition to sustainable energy.
