The first-year students of the Frank Mohr Institute present their work in two group exhibitions, titled RE:Current.

Here, they show their most recent work. RE:Current can be understood in two ways. On the one hand, by referring to trying out repeatedly by continually returning to the process, the research, the questions, the work, and the experience of creation and presentation, with the ultimate goal of bringing the artwork further. On the other hand, in the sense of something running or turning in another direction. Hence, to take the work or project out of one context (for example, the studio or a specific setting or community) and bring it to another – recontextualizing or translating the work to another space or to an audience. The participating artists study at different programs, namely Painting, Media Art Design Technology (MADtech) and Interrelational Art Practices (iRAP). Before the opening of the exhibition, they have been working together for several weeks on the best possible presentation.
