Qbuzz has announced that from 8.30 p.m. tonight to 10.30 a.m. tomorrow morning, there will be no bus transport in Groningen and Drenthe due to black ice. In connection with your safety and the accessibility of our buildings, we have therefore decided the following.

From 8 p.m. today  until tomorrow 11.30 a.m.:

  • Planned theory lessons will not take place on location and will be online as much as possible. Students will receive further information about this from their study programme.
  • Exams and tests on location will not take place and will be rescheduled.

Students will receive further information about this from their study programme.

Do you have an exam tonight that lasts until after 8 p.m.? Please contact your study programme.

  • Practical lessons are canceled.
  • Employees work from home, unless the work does not allow this.
  • All Hanze buildings are closed between 8 p.m. and 11 a.m.

From tomorrow 11.30 a.m.:

  • Education, tests and exams will continue as planned. Are you unable to get to Hanze (on time)? Contact your study programme.
  • Leave home on time and check current travel information from Qbuzz, Arriva and NS.
  • Keep an eye on MyHanze, Instagram and communications of your study programme.
  • Safety comes first: take care of yourself and don't take unnecessary risks.

As soon as there is new information, we will communicate as soon as possible. Follow updates via hanze.nl, myhanze.nl and Instagram.
